When replacing Boat Lift Motors and Drum Switches. it’s best to replace them with the same Manufacturers Type. This choice can save you time and money. Wiring diagrams for Boat Lift Switches and Boat Lift Motors are provided with purchase. Wiring diagrams are also available on our website under Technical Information. Leeson Boat Lift Motors along with the Electra Gear Boat Lift Motors can be wired with either the Salzer drum switch or the Bremas Drum Switch or a Gem Remote System. We now offer 3/4 hp and 1 hp A.O. Smith 56 frame Boat Lift Motors.
The Boat Lift Motors, Gear Plates and Drum Switches we offer will fit a wide variety of Boat Lifts and PWC/Jet Ski Lifts on the Market. We offer Stainless Steel and Boat Lift Cables and Galvanized Cables for Davits. When ordering Boat Lift Cables, please let us know the Manufacturer of your Lift and/or the size you will need.
We also offer custom cables in 1/4″ 5/16″ and 3/8″ diameter. Simply let us know the length, diameter and what type of cable ends your lift requires, and we can ship them within 2 days of placing the order.
Please Note: increasing cable size does NOT automatically increase a Boat Lift’s lifting capacity. Boat Lifts and Jet Ski/PWC Lifts are structurally designed to lift specified weights determined by the Manufacturer. A Boat Lift’s Motors, Gear Plates, Cables, Top Beams and Cradle size each play a crucial part in determining a Boat Lift’s capacity.
